Plantation, FL, July 9, 2002—TradeStation Group, Inc. today announced the launch of TradeStationWorld.com, a strategy trading community for active traders that is owned and operated by the company's TradeStation Technologies subsidiary. Since its release in 1991, TradeStation trading technology has been recognized as a unique and valuable "trading assistant" that empowers users to develop, test and automate custom trading strategies.

"We've heard many success stories from TradeStation users who have embraced strategy trading as a better way to trade—an objective approach that limits the unreliable influence emotions can have on trading decisions," said Bill Cruz, Co-Chairman of the Board and Co-CEO. TradeStationWorld.com has User Forums that enable registered TradeStation users to ask questions and share experiences and development tips, and to gain new insights from fellow users. In addition to a Strategy Development Discussion Forum, there is an EasyLanguage Discussion Forum where users are able to exchange ideas and tips on how to harness the full power and flexibility of EasyLanguage® to develop their own trading strategies. There are also Software Support Forums where users can find answers to questions they have about running TradeStation on different computers, ask questions about specific hardware or installation requirements, and explore other technical support issues.

To make sure visitors can take full advantage of the examples included in all articles and discussions, the company has made it easy to download EasyLanguage code directly into its TradeStation 6 subscription service. One need simply click on the download button, and the Import Wizard then walks the user through how to quickly import the studies in TradeStation 6 automatically. EasyLanguage studies are categorized in an online EasyLanguage Library, complete with a color-coded legend that allows visitors to quickly spot the studies in which they may be interested.

TradeStation users that are interested in additional trading strategy development education will find a schedule of training courses offered by TradeStationWorld from time to time. There's also a Suggested Reading section, where a visitor may become familiar with books from well-known authors. Visitors looking for third-party compatible products for TradeStation 6 will be able to peruse the TradeStation Open Platform developer directory that represents a collection of independent software products and technologies designed for use with the TradeStation platform, and will see a list of EasyLanguage Specialists that can provide custom EasyLanguage programming services.
